Four Steps to Protecting Your Family

Estate planning sounds complicated. It's not. From start to finish, most families are done in a single afternoon.

01 Choose Your State

Pick the kit that matches where you live.

Estate planning laws vary by state, so every kit is built for one specific state. We currently offer kits for:

  • 🏔️Utah — Compliant with Utah Code Title 75A

  • 🌵Arizona — Follows Arizona Revised Statutes (A.R.S.)

  • 🤠Texas — Updated for current Texas law

Not sure which kit? Use the kit for the state where you currently live. That's the state whose laws govern your estate plan.

02 Download Your Kit

📥 Instant access after purchase.

Once you check out, you'll get immediate access to download your complete estate planning kit. Everything comes as easy-to-use documents you can fill in on your computer or print and complete by hand.

Your kit includes:

  • 📜 Simple Will

  • 💼 Durable Financial Power of Attorney

  • 🏥 Advance Health Care Directive

  • 🚨 Emergency Information Sheet

  • 🖊️ Step-by-Step Signing Instructions

No waiting. No scheduling appointments. No driving across town.

03 Fill In Your Details

✏️ Follow the instructions and make it yours.

This is the part that scares people, but it shouldn't. The instructions walk you through every blank, every choice, every decision — in plain English.

You'll need to decide things like:

  • 👶 Who should be the guardian for your minor children?

  • 💰 Who do you trust to handle your finances if you can't?

  • 🏥 Who should make medical decisions for you?

  • 📦 How do you want your assets distributed?

Most of these are questions you already know the answers to. The kit just helps you put them in writing.

⏱️ Average completion time: 1–2 hours

💡 Pro tip: Talk through the big decisions with your spouse or partner before you sit down to fill things out. It makes the process much smoother.

04 Sign and Make It Official

✍️ Follow the signing checklist for your state.

This is the most important step. Each state has specific rules about how estate planning documents must be signed, witnessed, and notarized. Your kit's signing instructions tell you exactly what to do.

Typically, you'll need:

  • 👥 Two witnesses (the kit explains who can and can't be a witness)

  • 🏛️ A notary public (available at most banks, UPS stores, and libraries for a few dollars)

  • 🪪 Your ID (the notary will need to verify who you are)

Once everything is signed and notarized, store your documents somewhere safe — a fireproof safe, a safety deposit box, or with a trusted family member. Make sure your executor and agents know where to find them.

That’s it. You’re done.
